THE FACES

My most favored niche of photography must be that of Portraiture. My approach is driven by a fancy for moody expressions with intermittent sprinkles of levity. An intense play between light and shadow against a human face can make for pleasing, yet intense results - boundless opportunities at telling personal stories are at the ready. As The eyes, indeed, speak volumes, the Light upon which they reflect can immeasurably enhance a narrative.,

THE Streets

the splendor and infinite offerings that can be discovered at virtually every and any corner of the streets! Whether occupied with folks or barren with nothing more than inorganic leavings, any given neighborhood holds generations of stories that have been told, re-told and yet-to-be-told. The endeavor: Hit the streets, search, find and tell a tale!

The Music

The extraordinary magnitude of expressions conveyed by musicians transcend lyrical content and vocal delivery, as the body, the facial contortions and hand gestures, all sing songs of their own.

The Still

Though inanimate in nature and apparent appearance, a certain measure of virtual movement is present within the the stationary.. Subjects staged by intention or happenstance have innate expressions that beg for photographic capture.

The Plastic

Making portraits of almost unsettlingly realistic toy sculptures is rewarding and fun. Having grown-up during the 80’s & 90’s, the over-exposure of toy marketing embedded within me a life-long love of plastic representations of my favorite characters across a spectrum of programs and cinema.
